The minimum age limit for the driver, as well as for the additional driver, is 23 years. The maximum age limit is 70 years.<\/p>\n
A valid Greek driving license, or European (for countries within the EU), or International (for countries outside the EU) issued at least 1 year before the rental is required.<\/p>\n
In addition to the driving licence, the driver and any additional drivers must provide an identification document passport or ID card.<\/p>\n
Only the drivers named in the rental agreement are entitled to drive the car.<\/p>\n
Minimum rental charge is one day (24 hours), with a grace period of 59 minutes from the time of receipt. After 60 minutes the customer will be charged an additional rental day.<\/p>\n
The car rental is prepaid.The lessee must also have a personal credit\/debit card or pay the vehicle deposit in cash upon receipt of the vehicle. Accepted credit or debit cards.<\/p>\n
An amount of money (excess) equal to the amount of the renter’s liability must be approved – blocked from the driver’s credit card upon pick up of the car. This amount will be released upon return\/delivery of the car, after it has been checked and if no other charges are incurred. The release of the security deposit amount takes time depending on your bank. We are not responsible for any bank fees or bank charges associated with this process.<\/p>\n
Upon receipt of the vehicle, the Renter will be given the Rental Agreement which he\/she must check and sign.The Rental Agreement, will show all services\/insurance provided and any additional services\/insurance that the hirer wishes to have, with the corresponding charges.<\/p>\n
The hirer shall check the vehicle with great care and agree to record any previous damage, where he\/she shall sign the relevant car condition certificate.<\/p>\n
The cars are delivered – picked up according to the client’s wish at the airport of Thessaloniki free of charge. Pick up \/ delivery, is carried out at any point the customer wishes, upon request with our office.<\/p>\n
For delivery \/ collection outside Thessaloniki there is a charge depending on the distance. If the delivery \/ pickup is made outside of business hours there is a charge of 20 euros.<\/p>\n

Each vehicle of “Greek Spirit Car Rental” has basic liability insurance coverage, which includes:<\/p>\n
1) Death and bodily injury of third parties (excluding the driver) up to 1.300.000 \u20ac per victim.
2) Material damage to third parties (excluding the vehicle of “Greek Spirit Car Rental”) up to the amount of \u20ac1.300.000.
3) Roadside assistance and accident care.
4) Legal cover.<\/p>\n
The lessee may limit his\/her liability for any damage to the vehicle he\/she hires to a minimum of 500,00\u20ac (depending on the category of the vehicle and maximum charge the commercial value of the vehicle at the time of the accident) if he\/she accepts in advance the indemnity clause (C.D.W.). The amount of the indemnity shall be determined by the lessor according to the category of vehicle. The basic condition for the validity of the Comprehensive Damage Waiver (C.D.W.) and the theft insurance is that the Road Traffic Code must be observed.<\/p>\n
The Indemnity Release of Liability (D.E.Z. or C.D.W.) has no effect, even if agreed and accepted, in the following cases:
\u2022 Participation in races.
\u2022 Towing of vehicles, trailers and other trailers.
\u2022 Loading of objects beyond the capacity specified by the vehicle manufacturer.
\u2022 Unilateral consent to liability on the part of the lessee in case of an accident, without the immediate notification of “Greek Spirit Car Rental” and the presence of the Traffic Police to provide a copy of the incident report.
\u2022 Operation of the vehicle by any third party who has not been declared on the relevant form, irrespective of whether they hold a driving licence and their relationship to the lessee.
\u2022 Operation of the vehicle beyond the agreed rental period.
\u2022 Operation of the vehicle by a lessee under the influence of alcohol or drugs.
\u2022 Operation of the vehicle in violation of the K.O.K. or in a manner that endangers the vehicle, its occupants or third persons.
\u2022 Operation of the vehicle on unpaved roads.
\u2022 Operation of the vehicle for the transport of persons or objects for a fee.
\u2022 Operating the vehicle for an illegal act under Greek law.
\u2022 Operation of the vehicle for driving instruction to third parties.
No cover will cover damage (destruction or loss) to tyres, wheels or wheel rims, the sound system (RCD DVD), antennas, instruments and the underside of the vehicle. The interior of the vehicle (e.g. burning, tearing or staining of upholstery) is also not covered.<\/p>\n
This insurance reduces the driver’s liability in case of total theft or fire to 500,00\u20ac depending on the category of the car.<\/p>\n
In case of an accident or other incident (theft, fire) involving the vehicle, the renter is obliged to immediately inform the Police (tel.100) and our office. He should also note the names and addresses of witnesses and any relevant information from any third party. In addition, he\/she should complete and sign the accident report within 24 hours from the time of the accident and hand over to us the police log and other documents or information about the incident. In the event of an accident at the customer’s fault, the customer shall bear the costs of managing the accident file.<\/p>\n
The lessee must return the car with the same amount of fuel that he\/she received. If the car is returned with less fuel than the amount of fuel received, the lessee will be charged for the difference in fuel. No refund will be given if the car is returned with more fuel than was received.<\/p>\n
Fines and administrative penalties resulting from a violation of the Code of Conduct during the rental period are the sole responsibility of the renter.<\/p>\n
In case of removal of plates during the rental period, the renter will be charged for the rental until the receipt of the plates by the competent service.<\/p>\n

We are not allowed to drive or transport our cars outside Greece.<\/p>\n
Local tax – VAT 24%.<\/p>\n
Our company reserves the right to change the type of car in special cases<\/p>\n
You have the possibility to change or cancel your booking up to 72 hours before the start of the rental period. The change or cancellation can be made by e-mail greekspiritcars@gmail.com or by phone at 2310325333 and take effect from the moment we receive them.<\/p>\n
If the lessee wishes to extend the rental of the car he\/she must notify “Greek Spirit Car Rental” within 48 (forty-eight) hours prior to the end of the rental period to obtain approval.<\/p>\n
In case of returning the vehicle earlier than the date scheduled and indicated in the rental contract, no refund will be given.<\/p>\n
In case of loss or destruction of the key during the rental period, the renter will have to pay from 80\u20ac to 200\u20ac depending on the category of the vehicle.<\/p>\n
“Greek Spirit Car Rental” is not responsible for loss or theft of personal belongings from the rented car.<\/p>\n
In the event that the vehicle is returned with dirty seats or upholstery and biological cleaning is required to return the vehicle to its original condition, you will be charged a cleaning fee. The cleaning cost is 80\u20ac, tax included.<\/p>\n
The driver is charged 20\u20ac in case of an accident, his\/her fault. This amount is non-refundable.<\/p>\n
There is a mileage restriction for short term rentals.<\/p>\n
